878. . 6-2 (3-2). . Hawkeyes . 6. team

The Hawkeyes were rocked for the second straight week, as Wisconsin beat them down 27-7.

The offense continued to sputter, putting up just 156 total yards of offense. The Hawkeyes also turned the ball over three times, without forcing a turnover themselves.

This team’s offense was too reliant on the defense making plays for them, and it’s finally caught up to Iowa. They got lucky to slip by Penn State without Sean Clifford, but the last two games have finally exposed a team that’s best offense was its defense.

Northwestern is up next, so they should be able to get back on track.
