Rutgers got its first conference win of the year with that 20-14 win over Illinois.

It was a nice win for the Scarlet Knights, they ran for 230 yards, controlled the ball for over 35 minutes, and had no turnovers. Doing those things will usually get the job done, especially on the road.

Rutgers has to feel good about finally getting that first conference win, but it will be a challenge to get many more, especially with Wisconsin up next. The fact that the Knights still have a path for a bowl game in November is encouraging though.
