Cornhuskers . 13. team. 810. . 3-6 (1-5).

Nebraska lost another close one as they fell 28-23 to Purdue at home on Saturday.

Once again, the Cornhuskers lost a one-possession game, all six losses have been by eight points or less, just brutal. The big difference in this one was that quarterback Adrian Martinez threw four interceptions, while Purdue did not turn the ball over.

The close losses mean this team is at least fighting and has the talent to be competitive, but they need more talent to get over that hump.

It’s unclear what the future holds for Scott Frost, but at the rate Nebraska is recruiting at, there isn’t a lot more talent on the way.
