Michigan suffered its first loss of the year, with a heartbreaking 37-33 loss at Michigan State.

Cade McNamara was forced to put the team on his shoulders for pretty much the first time all year, and he was up to the challenge. He went 28-44 for 383 yards and two touchdowns. Unfortunately, he also threw the game-sealing interception.

Michigan led this game 30-14 midway through the third quarter, so this was a pretty bad collapse for Jim Harbaugh and his defense down the stretch. Michigan is still in the thick of things though, and a few upsets plus winning out will get them to the championship.

Indiana is up next.
