Penn State Football LB Curtis Jacobs is a star in the making

Linebacker Curtis Jacobs has really stepped his game up over the course of the past month.

Against Iowa, the sophomore linebacker tallied 4 total tackles, including 2 tackles for loss and a sack. Against Illinois, he accumulated 5 tackles and his first career interception. He followed up those two performances with a 7 tackle (2 tackles for loss) game against the Buckeyes this week.

He certainly wasn’t perfect, and he had a couple of head-scratching moments against Ohio State. But overall, the first-year starter has really played well over the past three games.

Jacobs has begun to regularly stuff runs around the line of scrimmage, including tonight against one of the best running backs in the country.

Curtis Jacobs looks like he will continue to get better with experience, and he could be a household name in the future for Penn State Football fans.
