Uh, Saturday was not pretty for the Nittany Lions, as they fell at home in nine overtimes to Illinois 20-18.

Despite visibly dealing with an injury, quarterback Sean Clifford gutted it out, going 19-34 for 165 yards and a touchdown.

Clifford did not have much help as the run game sputtered again with a total of 62 yards.

The defense, now without starting defensive tackle P.J. Mustipher was gashed for 357 rushing yards in the game.

This was not pretty at all and a game Penn State Football should have won regardless of the condition Clifford was in.

With games against Ohio State, Michigan and Michigan State still to come, Penn State needs to get going, and soon.
