Illinois was the team of the week this past Saturday, with a historic nine overtime win at Penn State, thanks to a game-winning pass from Brandon Peters to Casey Washington.

The Illini won 20-18 thanks to 357 rushing yards and incredible defensive play. This was a huge win for a program in the midst of a rebuild. Running back Chase Brown led the way with 223 rushing yards and a touchdown.

The defense was able to hold Penn State to just 18 points in a nine overtime game was so impressive and they looked like the better team by far on Saturday.
