A week after picking up its first Big Ten win of the year, Northwestern was crushed by Michigan 33-7 this past Saturday.

There weren’t many positives to take away from this game as both sides of the ball struggled for Northwestern. Michigan racked up 457 yards of offense and controlled the game with almost 40 minutes in time of position.

The offense sputtered, going just 4-14 on third downs and totaled just 233 yards of offense. Running back Evan Hull was the lone bright spot, rushing for 81 yards and a touchdown on just six carries.

Northwestern will host Minnesota this week.
