7-0 (4-0). . Wolverines . 2. team. 811.

As for the team Michigan State will play, the Wolverines downed Northwestern 33-7 this past week.

The team once again relied on the run game, as they totaled 294 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. Blake Corum and Hassan Haskins have arguably been the best running back duo in the country this season.

The defense has also played well, giving up just 14.3 points per game and allowing less than 300 yards of total offense a game. Jim Harbaugh may finally have the team he’s been waiting for.

Saturday’s in-state rivalry game will be a good one.
