Penn State continues to tumble down the Big Ten power rankings, after one of the most embarrassing losses in program history last weekend, and ahead of a clash with Ohio State

If you thought things in the Big Ten couldn’t get any wilder, you’d be wrong.

There were a few notable upsets this week with Penn State and Purdue falling, while Ohio State and Minnesota continued to impress.

Week 8 should be another wild one as Michigan and Michigan State face off and Penn State will travel to Ohio State.

There’s a lot of shuffling going on in the rankings, so let’s get to it.

Here’s where things stand in the Big Ten, entering Week 8, including how far Penn State slides

. 2-5 (0-4). . Hoosiers . 14. team. 813

It was another rough week for the Hoosiers, as Ohio State rocked them 54-7 Saturday night.

Quarterback Jack Tuttle also suffered an injury, leaving Indiana with some serious questions at the quarterback position with Michael Penix also out. The defense that had kept Indiana in games finally broke, allowing the 54 points and 539 total yards of offense to the Buckeyes.

Maybe they beat Rutgers, but other than that, it’s not looking good for Tom Allen’s squad, and any chance of a bowl berth looks to be gone. The Hoosiers head to Maryland this week.
