Penn State Football wins if …

The biggest question facing the Nittany Lions who is under center (sorry, who is in the shotgun).  Ta’quan Roberson didn’t fare well coming into the hostile environment of Kinnick Stadium.

Penn State Football head coach James Franklin said that both Roberson and freshman Christian Veilleux took first team snaps this week. And we all saw the pictures of Clifford in uniform practing Wednesday night.

So, who know’s who will be the starting quarterback Saturday.

But, since it’s the most important position on the field, we’ll keep the ‘Penn State Wins If’ around whomever plays the position.

Penn State Football wins if the quarterback(s) turn the ball over once or less. Touchdowns don’t need to be scored every possession. But, as long as the Nittany Lions aren’t giving the Illini a short field, three and out’s aren’t the worst drive result, especially with Jordan Stout’s leg.
