4-2 (2-1) . . Boilermakers . 6. team. 848.

How about them Boilermakers!

If you’re the No. 2 team in the country, you better hope Purdue is not on the schedule, because you will lose.

Purdue walked into Kinnick Stadium on Saturday and left with a 24-7 dominating win.

The Iowa defense could not stop star wide out David Bell, as he went off, catching 11 passes for 240 yards and a touchdown. Last week, I talked about how Purdue needed to find stability at the quarterback position, and they found it, kind of.

Aidan O’Connell had the game of his life, going 30-40 for 375 yards and two touchdowns. Head coach Jeff Brohm kept Iowa on their toes though, by subbing in the two other quarterbacks Jack Plummer and Austin Burton and allowing each the opportunity to throw.

Purdue isn’t a perfect team, but they’re so exciting to watch and now have to be considered when talking about who will represent the West in Indianapolis.
