Wisconsin did not play a conference game this past week as they defeated Army 20-14 on Saturday night.

It looks like the Badgers have a new No. 1 running back as true freshman Braelon Allen carrying the ball 16 times for 108 yards and a touchdown. With former 4-star Jalen Berger removed from the team this past week, Wisconsin needed someone to step up and Allen did.

Quarterback Graham Mertz was still underwhelming as a passer, going 8-15 for 112 yards, he did have two rushing scores though . The big thing though, was that he didn’t turn the ball over.

Wisconsin had the defense to win the West and they may have the running back now too. Army is a tough team, so although it wasn’t a clean game, Wisconsin will take a win anyway they can.
