Big Power Rankings Week 8: Purdue causes big shakeup
Indiana battled hard against Michigan State, but ultimately fell 20-15.
The offense was not great again, but that was kind of expected with the loss of quarterback Michael Penix Jr. Jack Tuttle didn’t play great in his place, going 28-52 for 188 yards and two interceptions.
The Hoosiers defense is keeping them in games, but the combination of departures from last year’s team and injuries to the current team have this offense looking really bad.
Needing four more wins for a bowl birth with only six games left isn’t ideal and it looks like last year was more of an outlier than a trend in the right direction for Tom Allen’s team.
