Max Dean’s bold prediction for 2021-2022 season

Now that I’ve set my expectations, the only logical next step is to take a huge dive into the deep end for a bold prediction.

And here’s my bold prediction for Max Dean in the 2021-2022 season.

Max Dean will win his first NCAA title and will defeat AJ Ferrari at some point on the way

I’ve mentioned this before in prior articles, so I’ll go ahead and beat this drum again. While AJ Ferrari did win the NCAA title last season at 197, I don’t believe he is that technically sound as a wrestler.

Can he rip both my arms off and beat my house down with them? Yeah, probably.

But he’s still a freshman and experience and technique do account for something in wrestling. And I believe Max can and will beat Ferrari.

So now that I’ve blown the roof off my house with this prediction, let’s back the truck up a little bit and hope Max Dean does indeed win the 197 spot and then go from there.
