Preseason Prediction – Penn State Football wins the Big Ten & reaches College Football Playoff

This was my boldest preseason prediction, and in some capacity, does not look as bold now as it did in August, as some people though Penn State Football might have 2 or 3 losses by this point.

Obviously they do have one loss, but the possibility for the Nittany Lions to win the Big Ten and reach the playoff still exists, mainly because they have complete control over their own destiny. I recently talked about what this team has to do, as well as their chances to reach the College Football Playoff.

With Sean Clifford, this team has a good chance to win each game remaining on their schedule. It hurts a little to have lost PJ Mustipher, but this defense still has a ton of talent elsewhere and will continue to be great.

The Nittany Lions need to get the running game going, and hope that Sean Clifford returns by the Ohio State matchup on October 30th, but there is still chance this bold prediction holds true.

Now time for some second half predictions for Penn State Football…
