Second Half Prediction – Jahan Dotson returns 2 punts for touchdowns
This may be the boldest of all of my second half predictions, just for the fact that is rare and extremely difficult to return a punt for a touchdown. However if anyone can do it, it would be Jahan Dotson.
Dotson is obviously a talented enough player with the ball in his hands, but there are a lot of other variables that affect this, such as; blocking, punt coverage, and also if the opposing team even decides to give him a chance to return it.
If Dotson breaks one off for a touchdown in the coming weeks, it would become increasingly harder for him to get another one because teams will be much less likely to kick it to him after that.
Two punt return touchdowns in approximately half a season is extremely difficult, but predicting just 1 didn’t seem bold enough for my liking, so I went with two. Let’s hope Jahan makes it happen.
