Minnesota was the final Big Ten team to have a bye this past week, and because of it, they end up at No. 6.

Minnesota likely isn’t the sixth best team in this conference, but with the way a lot of other teams are playing right now, here they are.

Unfortunately for the Gophers, they will now go through the rest of the season without running back Trey Potts, who is reportedly out with an injury. It was reported that he was in the hospital after their game against Purdue two weeks ago. Potts had been filling in for star running back Mohamed Ibrahim, who was also lost for the season.

Considering the Gophers are a run first time, this doesn’t bode well for their success the rest of the year. Expect this to be the highest they get on this list.
