Purdue was on their bye this past week and they needed it to figure out some things at the quarterback position.

Jack Plummer started the season as the starter, but he was banged up against Notre Dame, which led to Aidan O’Connell finishing the game. Plummer did start the following week, but was pulled for O’Connell during the game. O’Connell then started against Minnesota two weeks back.

It looks like it’s going to be O’Connell going forward. Purdue fans probably don’t care who the quarterback is, as long as he can get the ball to David Bell, they’ll be happy.

It doesn’t get any easier for the Boilermakers though, as they face Iowa this weekend.
