Minnesota notched their first conference win of the year with the aforementioned 20-13 victory over Purdue.

Facing a 13-10 halftime deficit, the Golden Gophers outscored Purdue 10-0 in the second half, playing strong defense. Running back Trey Potts had another good game with 78 rushing yards and the go ahead touchdown in the third quarter.

Unfortunately, Potts left the game in the fourth quarter due to injury, and as of Monday, was still in the hospital. No specifics to the injury were given, but this is clearly a concerning situation.

This Minnesota team has been hard to figure out this season. They dominated Colorado, then lost at home to Bowling Green and now they beat Purdue on the road. They end up towards the middle of this list because of how bad the rest of the West division has been so far.

It’s hard to tell which way this team will go on this list, they sure do like to make it interesting.
