MVP

The Defense

it is hard to pinpoint one player that stood out above the rest so let’s give MVP of this one to the entire Penn State Football defense.

The Nittany Lions were flying around all night, and were stout against the run which has been a area of concern for this defense through four games.

The secondary got to flex their muscles for once, holding Indiana quarterbacks to 16 of 34 passing for only 195 yards and two interceptions.

The Hoosiers ran 24 times for only 69 yards and while Penn State Football only had two sacks on the night they had fairly constant pressure and both interceptions were forced due to heavy pressure on the quarterback.

The Nittany Lions will need to pack their defense with them for next weeks clash with Iowa that figures to be a low scoring affair.
