Penn State Football’s Jahan Dotson, Jaquan Brisker shooting up NFL Draft Boards
Penn State Football standouts Jahan Dotson and Jaquan Brisker are making the most of returning for their senior season shooting up draft boards and making a lot of money along the way
NFL Draft expert Mel Kiper Jr. dropped his updated NFL Draft big board Thursday morning, and he shocked the college football world when he listed Penn State Football wide receiver Jahan Dotson no. 8 overall, his highest rated wide receiver on his board.
Dotson came in ahead of the Ohio State duo in Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave who coming into the season were seen as the clear cut two best wide receivers in the country and would be the first two wide receivers off the board in April.
The senior wideout decided to come back for his senior season citing unfinished business from last season, and not only is he producing for a team ranked fourth in the nation and is undefeated, but he is seemingly making himself a lot of money in the process.
Dotson ranks at the top of the Big Ten in almost all categories with 27 catches, 362 yards and four touchdowns. He is picking up right where he left off after last season when he caught 52 passes for 884 yards and eight touchdowns in nine games.
Dotson however is not the only returning Nittany Lion making themselves some cash this season, as safety Jaquan Brisker checked in as the no. 2 safety on Kiper’s big board, behind only Kyle Hamilton of Notre Dame who figures to be a top five pick in the draft this year.
Brisker has been the heart and soul of the defense thus far, making two of the biggest plays of the season on that side of the ball in victories over Wisconsin and Auburn. Brisker has recorded eight tackles this season to go along with two pass breakups and an interception.
