Penn State Football commit Beau Pribula once again proved why he’s one of the premier quarterbacks in the 2022 cycle

In this week’s Penn State Football commit of the week, we turn to quarterback commit Beau Pribula.

Before turning the attention to Pribula, let’s look at some other notable stat lines from this past week.

Running back commit Nick Singleton may be one of the most unstoppable players in high school football, on Friday, he ran for 289 yards and six touchdowns in a 49-26 victory for Governor Mifflin.

Wide receiver commit Kaden Saunders had 73 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also taking a punt back for a 72-yard score on Friday.

As for Pribula, he had a special guest watching his game, as Penn State Football head coach James Franklin took a helicopter ride down to Central York to watch his future quarterback.

Franklin didn’t have to stay long though, as Pribula had a perfect first half going 10-10 for 260 yards and four touchdowns. Central York led 47-0 at the half, and that was it for Pribula for the day.

Having a big game and getting a huge win had to feel good for Pribula, but doing it in front of his future college head coach, who took a helicopter to come see him play, had to feel even better.

Pribula has been one of the longest tenured commits in Penn State’s top ranked 2022 recruiting class.

The 3-star quarterback committed back in August of 2020 and played in a big role in getting fellow Pennsylvania recruits, Nick Singleton, Anthony Ivey and Mehki Flowers to commit to Penn State.

Having a  great combination of athleticism and a winning track record, Pribula has drawn comparisons to former Nittany Lions quarterback Trace McSorley. Although those are lofty expectations, with the way Pribula has played since the start of his junior year, you can see the potential is there.

Penn State fans should be excited about both quarterbacks coming in next season.
