And finally we are onto our last grouping of potential starters for the 2021-2022 season.

If the last group was getting a little murky then this group is about as see-through as chocolate pudding.

Most likely you’re asking, “Hey Chris, didn’t some guy named Robbie Howard fill the 125 slot and qualify for the NCAA Championships? Why isn’t he the starter this season?”.

Why yes, you are indeed correct. Robbie took over the 125 spot midway through last season and he did it as a true freshman. However, he unfortunately aggravated a prior shoulder injury sometime this year and had to have surgery. Which means he will most likely be out for the entire 2021-2022 season.

And if Cael Sanderson had faith in a true freshman last season at 125 then who’s to say he won’t do the same this season with the No. 14 ranked recruit Gary Steen?
