Penn State Football wide receivers Jahan Dotson and Parker Washington forming the most dangerous tandem in the Big Ten

Penn State Football moved up to No. 4 in the latest AP Poll Sunday after dismantling Villanova 38-17 this weekend, and it was key performances from their most dominant wide receivers that paved the way.

The story was Sean Clifford going over 400 yards passing for the first time in his career, leading to a big day for both his top targets, Jahan Dotson and Parker Washington.

The duo combined for 12 catches, 265 yards and three touchdowns in the win Saturday, grading out as the two best performing wide receivers in the Big Ten this past week according to Pro Football Focus.

Dotson has picked up right where he left off from last year’s stellar season, and looks like a guy who came back for his senior season with something to prove.

Meanwhile, Washington is the perfect compliment to Dotson, who can take the top off the defense, as Washington thrives in the slot and is a menace after the catch.

Thus far through four games, Dotson has hauled in 27 receptions for 362 yards and four touchdowns. Washington has 23 catches for 301 yards and two scores.

Coming into the season all the preseason hype surrounded the Ohio State wide receivers room, and rightfully so with the talent the Buckeyes possess but it’s very possible the Nittany Lions boat the best wideouts in the Big Ten.

Next up for Dotson, Washington, and Penn State Football, is the chance to make another statement, next Saturday night in prime time agains Indiana.
