Wisconsin didn’t play this week, which is interesting considering it’s only Week 3.

The Badgers have a huge matchup in Chicago this upcoming week against Notre Dame. A win will get their season back on track, while a loss wouldn’t change much when it comes to the stands in the West division, it would still hurt.

Quarterback Graham Mertz is going to have to play a lot better than he did against Penn State for this team to come away with a victory on Saturday. Notre Dame may be a bit overrated, at No. 12 in the AP Poll. The Irish have barely beat two bad teams in Florida State and Toledo and struggled with Purdue at home.

Normally, a team wouldn’t be too happy about having their bye week this early in the season, but with the next two games being against Notre Dame and Michigan, the Badgers may not mind all that much.
