Rutgers soundly beat Delaware 45-13 on Saturday, taking them to 3-0.

Quarterback Noah Vedral had one of the better games of his career, completing 80% of his passes for 323 yards and two touchdowns. Star receiver Bo Melton had a big day as well, catching six passes for 125 yards and a touchdown.

Rutgers defense was good again, as this group has given up the second least amount of points in the conference through three games, trailing only Iowa. Wisconsin has only given up 23 points, but have only played two games. The Scarlet Knights defense added five sacks in the game as well. Linebacker Olakunle Fatukasi already has 28 tackles and 3.5 sacks this season.

Rutgers is winning games, which is something new, but the competition has not been all that impressive. That will change, as the Scarlet Knights next three games are against ranked conference opponents. We’ll see what they look like then, but chances are they’ll be sliding down this list.
