Jahan Dotson boosted his NFL Draft stock with a stellar performance against Auburn on Saturday night, but Penn State Football commit, Anthony Ivey also had a huge weekend

In this week’s installment of Penn State Football commit of the week, we will look at one of the Nittany Lions‘ talented pass catchers in Anthony Ivey.

Before we get to the 4-star wide receiver, here’s some other notable performances.

Drew Allar has done it again.

The 4-star quarterback had another monster for Medina (OH) High School on Friday. He went 21-31 for 422 yards and four touchdowns, Allar added another three touchdowns on the ground.

One of the best two-way players in Penn State Football’s 2022 class, Mehki Flowers, also had a big day, catching five passes for 150 yards and three touchdowns. He also performance well at safety and helped Central Dauphin hold Altoona to just 10 points.

As for Ivey, he had a performance that should excite Penn State Football fans. Jeff Reinhart of Lancaster Online reported that Ivey had 13 catches for 175 yards and two touchdowns on Friday, as Manheim Township beat Spring Ford.

Ivey is one of the least talked about players in Penn State’s 2022 class, thanks to how much star power is in this class, but Ivey should be brought up when talking about notable commits in this class.

Another wide receiver who was very talented, but flew under the radar in his class because of how talented it was, was Jahan Dotson back in 2018. He’s seems to be doing fine these days.

The 247 Sports composite lists Ivey as the No. 28 receiver in the country and the sixth best player in Pennsylvania. The 6-foot 190 pound wide out committed to Penn State last October has shown no sign of wavering since. His other notable offers included Auburn, Arizona State, Cincinnati and Maryland.

The future of Penn State Football’s offense is bright, and Ivey is a big reason why. Look for him to be a favorite target of Allar and Beau Pribula in the years to come in Happy Valley.
