No. 10 Penn State Football will set to take on the 22nd ranked Auburn Tigers in prime time in whiteout conditions

The stage has been set and the day has finally arrived, the Penn State Football white out is back in Beaver Stadium.

The 22nd ranked Auburn Tigers are making their first ever trip to Beaver Stadium to face the 10th ranked Nittany Lions.

Both teams come into this one 2-0, however there paths here couldn’t have come any differently. Penn State Football has gone on the road and beat a ranked Wisconsin team and last week handled the reigning MAC champion, Ball State.

Auburn has play two tune up games for lack of a better word, dismantling Akron and Alabama State, two inferior opponents. they have handled there business to this point, but Saturday night is a different challenge.

Let’s take a look at three keys to victory for Penn State Football:

Penn State Football key No. 3: Score First – let the avalanche take place

We have seen in past whiteout affairs with Michigan, early dramatic scores really allow the  crowd to play a role, and things can easily get out of hand for the opponent.

Auburn lost five games last season and four out of those five losses, their opponent scored first. Quarterback Bo Nix has thrown 10 touchdowns to 10 interceptions in road games in his career, so forcing the Tigers to play from behind is crucial.

Many believe both teams will come out conservative and looking to establish the run, however it may benefit Penn State Football to come out aggressive and try and strike first, similar to the second half at Wisconsin.

Nix was only 9 of seventeen passing last week against Alabama State, so forcing him to put the ball in the air could lend itself to some turnovers for this Nittany Lion defense.
