Penn State Football wins if …

Sacks, sacks and more sacks.

After living in the Wisconsin Badger backfield all game, the Nittany Lions were very dissapointed with their grand total of one sack against Ball State at home last Saturday.

Despite the Cardinals throwing the ball most of the game due to the score deficit, the savage defensive line lead by Arnold Ebiketie (the Temple transfer) didn’t make their presence felt as much as one would except.

Ball State clearly schemed to take away the Nittany Lions best traits.  Dotson was always double covered deep and the gave extra help to their offensive line with quick throws and additional chip blocks.  It sort of worked?  Dotson’s only big play was on a glorified screen pass and as previously mentioned, the Nittany Lions only had one sack.

So how does Penn State win in front of their national television audience?

Simple.

Sack. Bo. Nix.

The Nittany Lions must live in the Auburn backfield.  Three or more sacks, the Nittany Lions will win the game.
