Penn State Football DT – P.J. Mustipher

Auburn loves to run the football, and they are very good at it.

So, Penn State Football’s defensive tackles will need to step up and stop the run between the tackles, and not allow Auburn’s running backs to get to the second level.

Mustipher is the Nittany Lions’ top interior defensive lineman, and he needs make his presence felt this weekend. Mustipher has great size, and has a ton of experience, which should bode well for he and the defense.

Similar to Ellis Brooks, Mustipher did not play much against Ball State in week two, so he should also be well rested. Mustipher has eight tackles, and one tackle for loss so far in the early stages of the 2021 season.

If Mustipher can get off blocks to make tackles around the line of scrimmage against the run, as well as provide pressure on Bo Nix from up the middle, this Penn State defense will have a good night.
