Penn State Football reason for optimism – The Whiteout

The White Out is obviously a huge advantage for Penn State Football, just ask Michigan.

The crowd noise should force some false starts and delay of game penalties, as well as possibly force Auburn to spend some of their timeouts sooner than they would like.

Like, before the first offensive play from scrimmage, as Jim Harbaugh and Michigan were forced to burn a timeout in 2019.

Many of Auburn’s players have not yet experienced a top level college atmosphere, let alone one like this. With limited fans last season due to Covid, and Auburn having their first two games at home this season, any freshman or sophomore for the Tigers has yet to face a hostile environment.

Additionally, there maybe be some older players who did not play much the last time Auburn played a road game in front of a full capacity crowd back in 2019, so this will be new to them as well.

Penn State’s secondary has played great this season, if they can come up with a big interception at some point during this game, that could really electrify the crowd. A sack, or a deep touchdown early, would also fire the crowd up even more, making it even harder on Auburn.

If Penn State can get ahead early and play with a lead with the crowd behind them, it will be very difficult for Auburn to play from behind.

Penn State must clean up these areas before Saturday night vs. Auburn. light. Hot
