Penn State Football reason for optimism – Nittany Lions’ Secondary
This is basically a mirror image of Auburn’s secondary when Penn State has the ball.
A talented secondary, with a lot of experience, and a quarterback who has a history of some bad interceptions.
Through two games this season, Penn State Football has three interceptions from their defensive backs. Additionally, they have not allowed a single touchdown through the air this season, and the longest completion they have allowed has been 28 yards.
On top of being great in coverage, this secondary has also done a great job of tackling in the open field and also in run support. If Penn State Football’s secondary can continue to play the way they have been, they will be a headache for the Auburn offense to have to go against.
