Indiana got in the win column on Saturday with a 56-14 win over Idaho.

As Penn State Football fans know from 2019, Idaho just isn’t that good. At all.

Michael Penix had an interesting stat line in this one, 11-16 for 68 yards and two touchdowns. It was good to see him not turn the ball over after throwing two pick sixes last week, but the 4.3 yards per attempt was odd.

The Hoosiers special teams played extremely well in this one, returning two punts for touchdowns. The defense also played solid, not allowing a touchdown until the game was 35-0, and clearly out of reach for Idaho.

This team will only go as far as Penix takes them. We saw last week for his turnovers cost them big time. Indiana hosts the No. 8 team in the country in Cincinnati this upcoming week. A tough test for the Hoosiers and one that they would like to steal before heading into conference play.
