The yearly occurrence of Maryland blowing the doors off of Howard happened on Saturday when the Terps won 62-0.

Quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa was excellent again, going 22-27 with 274 yards and and three touchdowns. It’s becoming clear that Maryland will have a competent passing game, something they haven’t really been able to say lately.

The defense was very good in this one, allowing just 146 yards of total offense. They have settle in since giving up 21 in the first half last week to West Virginia. Again, Howard isn’t exactly the best team in the country, but the pure dominance of this game was impressive.

With that said, there’s still a lot of unknowns with this team. The big one being how will their offensive line hold up against the Iowas and Ohio Sates of the world. The Terps next two are against Illinois and Kent State, so were going to have to wait a little longer to see just how good they really are.
