Thanks to a 31-10 victory over Washington, Michigan is back in the AP Poll at No. 25.

The Wolverines used the dominate running back duo of Blake Corum and Hassan Haskins to lead them to that win on Saturday. Corum collected 171 yards and three touchdowns on just 21 carries. Haskins wasn’t too bad either, totaling 155 yards and a touchdown.

When Michigan can run like this and play defense the way they have so far this year, they are hard to beat.

The passing game leaves some to be desired as Cade McNamara went just 7-15 for 44 yards, luckily for him, his running backs picked him up big time.

Aiden Hutchinson reminded everyone why he’s considered one of the best defensive ends in the conference on Saturday with a 2.5 sack performance. Hutchinson and his fellow defensive linemen held Washington to just 50 yards rushing.

Michigan looks good, but Western Michigan and Washington, coming fresh off a loss to FCS Montana, are not who the Wolverines want to use as a measuring stick.

They will likely be 4-0 when they head to Madison to face Wisconsin, a win there and Jim Harbaugh will have the nation’s attention once again.
