Penn State Football’s Jordan Stout Needs to Split the Uprights

After going 1/2 on field goals, and 1/2 on extra points in week one, Jordan Stout had some improvement in week two. Stout was perfect on extra points, and went 3/4 on field goals against Ball State.

His missed field goal and extra point cost the Nittany Lions four points in Week 1, which was nearly detrimental. Against good teams, missing out on just a few points could be the difference between winning and losing.

In a perfect world, the offense finishes more drives with touchdowns, as opposed to settling for field goals, but that’s not always the case. So, Jordan Stout will need to find a way to capitalize on those opportunities to get three points, when called upon.
