Penn State Football needs these players to step up vs. Ball State

Penn State Football tight end – Brenton Strange
Before the season began, James Franklin said that this is the best tight end room that he has had. However, no tight ends had a catch in week 1 for the Nittany Lions.
Even though he and Theo Johnson spend approximately the same amount of time on the field, Strange was the starter for the first game, and he presumably will be again vs Ball State.
We all know that Penn State has a great group of wide receivers that the defense needs to worry about, but if they can get the tight ends involved in the passing game, especially in the red zone, it could really take this offense to the next level.
Look for offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich to try to get the tight ends more involved this week.
