Penn State Football cornerback – Tariq Castro-Fields

Ball State only had one wide receiver who seemed to do much damage for them in week 1, senior  Justin Hall.

Hall had eight catches for 137 yards and two touchdowns last week. The rest of the Cardinals only had a total of a total of 51 receiving yards.

So, as the Nittany Lions’ most experienced cornerback, Tariq Castro-Fields will have to shut down Hall when he is lined up across from him. Without Hall, the Cardinals should have virtually no passing game.

Castro-Fields was not targeted often, if at all, in the week 1 win over Wisconsin.

If Castro-Fields continues to do his job and lock down his half of the field, this Penn State Football defense will have another great afternoon in week 2.
