Penn State Football makes a big play on special teams – Dotson to the house

Outside of a missed FG and missed extra point, the special teams were very good for Penn State Football in the win over Wisconsin.

They did not have a chance to do much in the return game with either punts or kicks, but this feels like a week where they could make a big play on special teams. The prediction for this week, is Jahan Dotson takes a punt back to the house for a touchdown.

We saw Dotson do it against Michigan State last year and then almost again the following week vs Illinois but was just tripped up. Dotson is the ultimate game breaker for the Nittany Lions, and should have a few chances to do so if the defense is consistently getting stops like they did last Saturday.

Interestingly enough, Ball State did not face a punt return last week against Western Illinois, so that could make them susceptible to covering one should Dotson get his hands on a few punts this week.

Penn State needs big games from these five players to beat Ball State. light. Trending
