Purdue played well on Saturday and pulled out a 30-21 victory over Oregon State.

Wide receiver David Bell may quietly be the best wide out in the conference, and quarterback Jack Plummer is a capable passer. Plummer threw for 313 yards and two touchdowns in the win on Saturday.

While the Boilermakers will have one of the better passing attacks in the country, there are some questions on the other side of the ball. Defensive end George Karlaftis has a future in the NFL, but there isn’t much talent around him.

A win is a win, and Purdue will likely start 2-0 with a game against UCONN next week. Their schedule after that is tough, with five teams currently ranked on the schedule.

Purdue has a chance to move up this list as the season goes on.
