Penn State Football Defensive Game Ball – LB Ellis Brooks

You could also go a number of ways defensively for who to give the game ball to, but I decided to go with Ellis Brooks.

Brooks led the Nittany Lions with 11 total tackles on the day. He also added one sack and one tackle for loss.

Brooks was all over the field before he was ejected for targeting in the fourth quarter, and he had FOX’s Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt raving about him all afternoon. He also did a great job in pass coverage, especially against Wisconsin tight end Jake Ferguson in the end zone on a crucial third down stop in the second quarter.

Brooks was one of my key players on defense for the entire season, and so far he is off to a good start.
