Penn State Football had a number of players step up and make some big plays in big moments during their win over Wisconsin on Saturday.

Offensively, Jahan Dotson played like many Penn State Football fans expected him to, and Noah Cain played really well down the stretch as well in the Nittany Lions‘ 16-10 upset win at Wisconsin.

On defense, you could almost award the ‘game ball’ to the entire team, but what fun is that?

Safety Jaquan Brisker had a gutty performance, and played great despite going down multiple times from apparent injury. Brandon Smith played very well, and Jesse Luketa looks to have found a new home at defensive end, making some nice plays from that position.

The cornerbacks also had a great game, mainly because you did not hear much about any of them, which for a cornerback is a good thing.

But, who were the Nittany Lions most instrumental in Saturday’s 16-10 victory?

These are the players who earned a ‘game ball’  for Penn State Football’s win over the Badgers.

Penn State Football Offensive Game Ball – RB Noah Cain

Cain stepped up big time for this Penn State Football team in the fourth quarter, scoring the go ahead touchdown. Here is that touchdown:

Cain only finished with 48 rushing yards, but that came on just eight carries, which averages to a solid six yards per carry. Additionally, he did a nice job of breaking tackles and picking up a lot of yards on a few catches out of the backfield in the fourth quarter, finishing with four catches for 47 yards.

Once Cain was able to get going, it really opened up the rest of the offense. Expect him to continue to carry the ball well for the Nittany Lions, especially if the offensive line can improve throughout the season.
