Key Player – Sean Clifford (quarterback)

The quarterback is always a key position for a football team, regardless of how talented they are. However, this season, Sean Clifford is the single biggest key to not only the success of this offense, but this entire team.

First and foremost, Clifford will need to cut down on his turnovers. He struggled last year both with throwing interceptions and with fumbling the football. This starts with him not forcing throws by being patient in the pocket and going through his progressions. He cannot get locked onto his number one option, and then panic when that option is not open.

Additionally, he will need to clean up his mechanics and step into his throws. If he can do that, his interceptions will drop significantly, and his completion percentage will increase.

Sean Clifford is a very capable runner, so he needs to know when he should try to pick up positive yards with his legs if a play breaks down, and he needs to protect the football when he does that.

This team is loaded with talent all over the field, which makes Sean Clifford such an x-factor. This team will go as far as he will take them.
