Week 6: Penn State Football @Iowa

After enjoying a nice four-game homestand, the Nittany Lions will face another tough road challenge against Iowa.

The Hawkeyes finally found a way to beat James Franklin last season, after losing four straight to the Penn State head coach. Iowa put on one of their best offensive showings in a couple years, putting up 41 against the Nittany Lions.

Iowa will not be much of a threat through the air, but star running back Tyler Goodson will be a problem for the Penn State defense. Last season, he ran for 762 yards and seven touchdowns on 143 carries.

Iowa lost some talent along their defensive line, but by the sixth game of the year, they will likely have everything figured out on what is usually a stout defense.

Despite how tough playing at Kinnick Stadium is, Franklin and Sean Clifford have answered the call before and won there.

Just like the past victories against Iowa, this will be a grind, but for some reason, Penn State has been fine playing Iowa’s brand of football the past few years.
