And the list goes on…

But, now we can add another name to the prestigious group of Nittany Lion wrestlers who made the jump to Penn State Football.

Seth “Big Snacks” Nevills.

The Penn State 285 pounder will reportedly continue his wrestling scholarships, but this time on the football team as a walk on offensive lineman.

Now, I’ll be the first person to tell you I don’t anything about what it takes to actually play offensive line in football. But, something tells me strength, quick feet, powerful hands, and an acute understanding of leverage are all attributes of good offensive lineman.

And this is precisely what the Penn State Football team is going to get with Nevills. Seth compiled an overall record of 36-7 during his tenure as a Nittany Lion, competing in various open tournaments, invitationals, dual meets, and in the 2020 B1G Championships.

Oh, and the junior also played a bit of oline back in his high school days at Clovis HS (California).

I’m not going to forecast Seth to ever be a starter on an already talented and experienced football squad, but something tells me he’ll give the other guys everything they can handle in practice.
