Continuing A Pipeline

There aren’t many high schools that have been kinder to Penn State than the McDonogh School in Maryland.

Dennis-Sutton is the fourth 4-star defensive player to commit to the Nittany Lions since 2018. The first being PJ Mustipher in 2018, D’Von Ellies and Curtis Jacobs followed in 2019 and 2020.

Penn State’s relationship there only strengthened with the return of recruiting director Kenny Sanders back in the Winter. Sanders is an alumni of the McDonogh School and was a key part of Penn State initial success there.

That success has returned with Dennis-Sutton and now has a chance to continue in 2023.

McDonogh is home to one of the best offensive lineman in the Mid-Atlantic in 2023 in Antonio Tripp Jr. Tripp has been high on the Nittany Lions for a while and Penn State would love to get him in the fold in the near future.

McDonogh will continue to develop Division I talent in the coming years, and Penn State should feel good about landing whoever they want from there with the way things have gone recently.
