Penn State football commit Kaleb Artis (DT)

Scott Jr. was just getting greedy at this point. A few hours after Fearbry’s announcement, 3-star defensive tackle Kaleb Artis capped off the weekend with another commitment for Penn State.

The New York product chose the Nittany Lions over the likes of Auburn and Florida State.

Although they may be lining up next to each other one day, Artis is a very different player than Durant. Artis is listed at 6’4, 290 pounds, making him an ideal run stopper in the middle of a defensive line.

His frame, along with his talent, made him one of Penn State’s top choices at defensive tackle in the 2022 class.

Between Durant and Artis, Scott Jr’s mission to fill his defensive tackle depth is complete, at least for this cycle.
