Penn State football commit Tyreese Fearbry (DE)

Franklin and Scott weren’t done getting good news, as just hours after Durant, 4-star defensive end Tyreese Fearbry also committed to the Nittany Lions on Sunday.

The Pittsburgh area defensive end is listed at 6-foot-5 and 230 pounds. He had the ideal frame to play defensive end, but he will need to add more weight before seeing the field against Big Ten competition.

What Penn State fans might like the most about Fearbry, is that he chose Penn State over Pitt, who had been seen as the favorite for a long time. Pitt even let Fearbry unveil new uniforms during his official visit there back in June.

It may take a couple years to see Fearbry on the field in the blue and white, but once he’s there, he has the makings of an impact player on defense.
