Starting center: John Harrar

Mr. Delco himself, John Harrar epitomized everything that was the Pat Chambers era in State College.

No one outworked Harrar, who was initially recruited to play football in college.  Each year, John improved more and more and was a highly coveted potential grad transfer across not just the Big Ten Conference but the nation.

Harrar averaged 8.8 points and 8.8 rebounds per game last year as his back to the basket game offensively soared to new heights.  It’s not impossible if he gets the minutes to average a double-double this year.
